Overview of selected credit‑score services

Experian

Experian offers a free credit score updated once a month. Its paid CreditExpert plan provides your full credit report, daily score updates, identity‑protection services and alerts to changes.

Equifax

Equifax operates a paid subscription that includes your credit score and report plus identity‑protection tools. Unlike some competitors, Equifax does not provide an ongoing free tier.

ClearScore

ClearScore uses Equifax data to give you free access to your credit score and report. The service also offers coaching suggestions and product recommendations based on your profile.

CheckMyFile

CheckMyFile combines data from the major UK agencies – Experian, Equifax, TransUnion and Crediva – into one report. It offers a 30‑day free trial and then charges a subscription, with daily updates and advice on how to improve your score.

Credit Karma

Credit Karma is free to use and shows your TransUnion‑based credit score and report. It updates weekly and provides recommendations for loans or credit cards that may suit your circumstances.

TotallyMoney

TotallyMoney uses TransUnion data to give you your credit score and report with daily updates. The service is free and offers alerts to changes along with personalised insights and product matches.
